Shinryaku!? Ika Musume – 02
(Shougakkou ni Ikanai ka!? / Kosupure Janai ka!? / Karukunai ka!?)
“Won’t You Go to Elementary School!? / Isn’t That Cosplaying!? / Aren’t You Lighter!?”
(Shougakkou ni Ikanai ka!? / Kosupure Janai ka!? / Karukunai ka!?)
“Won’t You Go to Elementary School!? / Isn’t That Cosplaying!? / Aren’t You Lighter!?”
「Last Episode」
Unlike the anime that featured an original ending with Éclair Tonnerre, the drama sticks to the source material where Tamaki decides to quit the Host Club for Haruhi’s sake. Having seen both variations, I have to say that I prefer the manga’s storyline, simply because it directly involves Haruhi.
(Kyoukaisen Mae no Seiretsu Monotachi)
“Those Standing Before the Boundary Line”
In terms of the episode itself, I guess we’ll just have to wait till next week before things really get kicked into gear.
(Bokura no Juu Nana Kaime no Haru Ni)
“Our 17th Spring”
At the end of the day, there are only a few things I can say about this first episode of Kimi to Boku. At first, I wasn’t enjoying the way the character’s faces were drawn and I felt that the episode was moving really slow. But as I got into the gist of things and started to drop any reservations I had for this show, I started to really get drawn into the world that Kimi to Boku was trying to make.
(Meikyuu ni Hisomu Keiyaku)
“The Contract Hidden in the Labyrinth”
There weren’t any real surprises in the premiere of Sunrise’s original puzzle series, but the studio delivered the premise they described and made it pretty interesting to boot.
(Maji de Watashi ni Kakatte Kinasai!!)
“Come at Me Seriously!!”
Rather than a premiere, the first episode of Majikoi looked like a finale. They skipped opening sequence, featured nonstop action for a good twenty minutes, and ended off with scrolling credits in the sunset.
(Toki yo Tomare)
“Stop Time”
The ending for the anime of the manga that isn’t ending anytime soon wasn’t really an ending at all. But stay tuned for the movie…
(Futon ni Utsuru Mono wo Shiranai)
“I Don’t Know What That Thing Moving About the Futon is”
Well if this first episode was any indication, it looks like I wasn’t too far off the mark about how Cube x Cursed x Curious (a.k.a. C Cube) would tread into romantic-comedy territory more than anything else.
(Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu!)
“Idiots, Tests, and Summoned Beings!”
I’ll admit that I’m going to hold on to this hope that Minami will eventually be the one who will win Akihisa’s heart. However, after watching Himeji suddenly gain the confidence to let her true emotions just flow right out of her, I’m beginning to see why so many of you like her so much.
“Poetry of unseen tomorrows”
Dantalian no Shoka ends with a very powerful, visually stunning and (finally) emotional episode. But in looking back, I can’t help but feel I’ve just watched a pretty, well-produced 12-episode teaser trailer for the light novels.
