「Dragon Shooter phase.2」
“If something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” And if you can, it wouldn’t hurt to add some style and flair while you’re at it.

「謎のアバンチュール」 (Nazo no Adventure)
“Mysterious Adventure”
The final showdown of this show’s season begins. High school crush versus mysterious girlfriend. Who will win? Will they pull a Pacquiao and break Urabe’s streak, or will weirdness prevail? We know the answer, but how we get there is what matters.
So once again I return to Kajiura Yuki and her typically unique soundtrack for Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Since there’s no real point in me repeating what I had to say in my last post, I’ll instead suggest that if you haven’t already read it, you go back and do so. That way I can skip straight over introductions (and recommendations at the end) and focus entirely on the meat of the soundtrack – the music itself. Important note: There will be spoilers. If you haven’t watched Madoka and plan to do so in the future do not read this post! |

「操り人形」 (Ayatsuri Ningyou)
“Puppet”
Um… I don’t think I’ve ever been as confused about an episode as I am about this one…

「嬉しくてファイティング / 衝撃のアンダーウォーター」 (Ureshikute Faiteingu / Shougeki no Andauota)
“Joyous Fighting / Striking Underwater”
The reveal of the Tsuritama’s great mystery was rather underwhelming, but otherwise the show is on a roll as we enter the climax.
*For those of you following my AKB0048 posts, I have also included a short note explaining the delay.*

「困ります」 (Komarimasu)
“It’s Worrisome”
There it is, folks – we pulled a Kagami and Kuroko and made a magic pass while no one was looking! Bad jokes aside, I’m extremely happy to be picking up this show, so thanks to Guardian Enzo for passing it over!

「最果ての海」 (Saihate no Umi)
“The Sea at the World’s Edge”
The banquet of kings concluded with a feast for our eyes and an emptiness in our hearts. We all knew it was going to happen, but the expectation did not diminish the epicness of the moment.

「鬼の伝承」 (Oni no Denshou)
“Tradition of the Demon”
What? Plot? In my Hiiro no Kakera? Quick – someone roll out the red carpet because it needs to be given the VVVVVIP treatment and convinced to stay! Seriously though, there was a huge leap forward this week, and it was even weaved in together nicely with some character development!
