Flip Flappers – 04
「ピュアイコライゼーション」 (Pyuaikoraizēshon)
“Pure Equalisation”
When Flip Flappers acts less crazy it just makes me paranoid.

「めざめるオーボエ」 (Mezameru Oboe)
“Awakening Oboe”
It’s a given with Kyoani, but there really isn’t anything that keeps up with the character art and top-class production values that Hibike! Euphonium offers.

Now that every show has aired several episodes—and then a couple more, while I took my sweet time putting the post together—it’s time to tell you what we’ll be blogging this season. This is Random Curiosity’s Fall 2016 blogging schedule.
As always, this is a tentative overview of our plans for the new season . . . is what we used to say, but with multiple episodes under our belts, we’re pretty confident in our picks. Will some of them blow up in our faces? Probably. But this is what we’re going with.
「Chapter.5 晴信 / Chapter.6 夜空のむこう」 (Chapter.5 Harunobu/ Chapter.6 Yozora no Mukou)
“Chapter 5 Harunobu / Chapter 6 Beyond the Night Sky”
After putting it off until Stilts forced me to give him an answer, I never expected I’d love this show as much as I did — and we’re only three episodes in!
「赤灯台」 (Aka Toudai)
“The Red Lighthouse”
We’re three episodes into Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari, and it’s actually been even better than I was expecting.
「魔女の秘密」 (Majo no Himitsu)
“The Secret of the Witch”
Indeed, in this episode Izetta reveals a terrible secret: her measurements.
「フレンドを増やそう!」 (Furendo o Fuyasou!)
“Add More Friends!”
Now that is how you off a character, Out of left field and with no warning whatsoever.
「逢着」 (Hochaku)
“Encounter”
Fune wo Amu sure does hit that 2009 Noitamina sweet spot.
「セレクター/蜜と毒」 (Serekutaa / Mitsu to Doku)
“Selector / Honey and Poison”
If only the original WIXOSS moved this fast through its developments.
「俺軍 暁の出撃」 (Ore-gun akatsuki no shutsugeki)
“Army of Ours—Sortie at Dawn”
I never knew the battle of Minas Tirith had Japanese fighter planes and Russian princesses.
