「ペンギンさんの失恋/パンダくんの夜遊び」 (Pengin-san no Shitsuren/Panda-kun no Yo Asobi)
“Mr. Penguin’s Heartbreak/Panda’s Night Out”
So I happen to like Purtles and immature bears! Shoot me!

「くまエンカウント⇔ラブリマス」 (Kuma Enkaunto to Raburimasu)
“Bear Encounter ⇔ Lovelymas”
If there’s one thing that I really like about a show, it’s when it leaves no mystery behind. And seeing how the season is coming to a close soon, I was happily surprised when the mystery behind the man with a bag on his head and the bear giving a thumbs up was revealed.
「イン・ア・センチメンタル・ムード」 (In a sentementaru muudo)
“In A Sentimental Mood”
As many different styles, shapes and sizes as great anime come in, how alike they are is more striking than how different they are.
「これで決着だ!!」 (Kore de Kecchaku da!!)
“This Is the End!!”
Ah the monologue. A staple of any good psychotic antagonist.
With the adaptation of Muv-Luv Alternative spinoff Total Eclipse on the horizon, there’s just no better time to discuss the previous chapters of the Muv-Luv universe (Extra, Unlimited, and Alternative).
Note: This is a spoiler-free, dual post by both Moomba and Zephyr.
「Dragon Shooter phase.2」
“If something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” And if you can, it wouldn’t hurt to add some style and flair while you’re at it.
「謎のアバンチュール」 (Nazo no Adventure)
“Mysterious Adventure”
The final showdown of this show’s season begins. High school crush versus mysterious girlfriend. Who will win? Will they pull a Pacquiao and break Urabe’s streak, or will weirdness prevail? We know the answer, but how we get there is what matters.
So once again I return to Kajiura Yuki and her typically unique soundtrack for Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Since there’s no real point in me repeating what I had to say in my last post, I’ll instead suggest that if you haven’t already read it, you go back and do so. That way I can skip straight over introductions (and recommendations at the end) and focus entirely on the meat of the soundtrack – the music itself. Important note: There will be spoilers. If you haven’t watched Madoka and plan to do so in the future do not read this post! |
