(Kaigou)
“Chance Encounter”
So, after hyping the show up both in my mind and on the preview, does the anime adaptation manage to do the series justice? Hint: Sort of, but not really.

(Kingu Obu Rookii)
“King Of Rookies”
I’m not quite sure what the I just watched but what we got felt like a strange mixture of cool and confusing.
(Tensei Seshi Mono)
“The Reincarnator”
Of all the magical-fantasy-action-harem anime based on a light novels I’ve watched so far this season, this one may not be the worst, but it disappointed me the most. This first episode is an absolute mess.
(Kanzen’naru Otome)
“Perfect Virgin”
There’s potential here for an impressive historical action filled with war, witches, dragons, and sex jokes.
(Zenryoku de Yatterdu Dakenande)
“I’m Just Going At Full Strength”
After a length hiatus (unless you’re like me and marathoned the past two seasons within a few weeks), Kuroko no Basuke makes it triumphant return.
(Sekai wa Makkura Yami)
“The World is in Total Darkness”
This is one that’s going under everyone’s radar, but seriously, you should all watch this right now. It’s ambitious, emotional, and funny just when it wants to be. I’d even go as far as to say this was the best first episode of the entire season.
「Who is in the pumpkin carriage?」
So much positivity! This light! It buuuurnses us!
1) 」(Za Fuuru no Igi to Gebu-shin no Nduuru Sono 1)
“Iggy the Fool and Geb’s N’doul, Part 1”
It’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. What else is there to say?
(Hajimemashite! Shireikan!)
“Nice to Meet You! Commander!”
I knew Kusakawa Keizo was directing, but I didn’t expect a magical girl show.
(Imouto ga Dekita hi)
“The Day I Got a Little Sister”
Yes, this is a magical-fantasy-action-harem-ecchi anime, but so far it’s executing well on both the concept and its own story. I was optimistic going in, and it hasn’t let me down yet.
