「俺の妹がこんなに小説家なわけがない」 (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Shousetsuka na Wake ga Nai)
“There’s No Way My Sister is That Much of a Novelist”
You know how you sometimes get into an discussion with someone who seems to be beyond reason and start wishing for a gun so you can either shoot them or yourself? Well I felt sorry for Kuroneko this week as she had to deal with just that in Kirino, the self-proclaimed best novelist that has yet to be discovered.
「黒い潜入者」 (Kuroi Sennyuusha)
“Black Infiltrator”
This was an episode about the Hagane crew resupplying in the Dukedom of Riksent and Kyousuke, Rai, and company serving as bodyguards for Princess Shine Hausen (Kaihara Reina), but the late arrival of Gilliam Yeager (Tanaka Hideyuki) and his Gespenst stole the show for me by reminding me of the Super Robot Wars 4 days.
「Film noir」
The search for Gauche is underway and Lag is sent up north to the town of Blue Notes Blue to look for him. However, upon stumbling on some clues, he uses his Akabari to find out more on how Gauche ended up with Reverse, while Zazie has the unfortunate pleasure of running into the man himself.
「トランスホーム」 (Toransuhōmu)
“Transwhoremers”
Yeah, you read that right. ..it’s more than meets the eye?
「残骸 (レムナント)」 (Zangai (Remunanto))
“Wreckage (Remnant)”
So we’re back this week for the sixth installment of Toaru Majutsu no Railgun II.
「西瓜(トモキ)喰います」 (Suika (Tomoki) Kuimasu)
“Eating Watermelons (Tomoki)”
You would think that if you paired up the smartest first generation angeloid with the dumbest, some middle ground would be reached in terms of collective intelligence. However, things don’t quite add up that way in practice as Astraea brings out the worst in Nymph. Stealing from Ikaros’ watermelon garden. Now that’s just stupid.
「パンドラマイドサービス」
“Pandora Maid Service”
There are bad jokes, okay jokes, and pretty good jokes. Then there are laugh your ass off and accidentally shoot coke out of your nose jokes.
Kawada Mami, member of I’ve Sound, is an artist who probably needs no introduction among anime fan circles, having produced singles for several highly popular and prolific series such as Shakugan no Shana, Hayate no Gotoku!, and of course, Toaru Majutsu no Index. Looking at that list, it seems like in the roughly five years since the release of her first single, SEED, she’s become J.C.Staff’s go-to-girl for songs for their higher budgeted and advertised, multi-seasonal shows. Being a rather big Mami fan myself, enjoying every song she’s put out for Shana and Index, I immediately went to listen to the single of No buts!, released last week (11/3) the first chance I got.
… More after the jump.
