Love is In the Air~ |
Taking over for Stilts this week, I discover just how dangerous it is to talk about certain things with certain people.
「死の追撃者」 (Shi no Tsuigekisha)
“Pursuer of Death”
This week’s episode of SAO did a pretty good job at straddling the fine line between throwing too much or too little exposition at us by giving us just enough cool action scenes and fancy Sinon shots to make it all palatable.
「おけがまくっちした / 大怪我しそうになった」 (Ookega Makucchi Shita / Ookega Shisou ni Natta)
“Almost Got Badly Hurt”
After its one week hiatus, Barakamon returns this week with an emotionally charged episode. Like it or not, change is coming.
「ジョナサン」 (Jyonasan)
“Jonathan”
I’m still confused about how I want to feel about this show. Because every single time I’m on the verge of going “I’m okay with this” something completely incomprehensible happens.
「デス・ガン」 (Desu Gan)
“Death Gun”
Do you remember the goose bumps you got when Kirito first busted out his dual-wielding skill? While it wasn’t exactly the same, this episode did a great job at bringing back some of those feelings as I watched Kirito be a total badass.
「月」 (Tsuki)
“Moon”
With the anime slowly turning around in some aspects, I can’t help but laugh a bit as I think about just how far we’ve come since episode one.
「バレット・オブ・バレッツ」 (Baretto Obu Burettsu)
“Bullet of Bullets”
After a couple episodes of setting the stage, this week’s episode finally kicks things off with a huge boom.
「オンデ / 念仏踊り」 (Onde / Nenbutsu Odori)
“Buddhist Prayer Dance”
Again, this week’s episode managed to bring out all the feels.
「雪」 (Yuki)
“Snow”
After last week’s train wreck, I thought this week’s episode did a little better. While I’m still a little confused about what direction the show is trying to go in, P.A. Works did a great job at illustrating a world that’s literally falling apart at the seams.
「Kurenai no Kioku」 (Kurenai no Kioku)
“Crimson Memories”
After a few weeks of almost nonstop action, it would make sense that we would get an episode to slow the tempo down a bit to build up some different types of tension.
