Kaichou wa Maid-sama! – 24

「ラテ・マジックでメロメロリン♥」 (Rate Majikku Meromerorin ♥)
“Latte Magic Mellow Mellow Rin ♥”

In an unusual case where I’m actually happy about being wrong, the late introduction of Hinata has exceeded my expectations as to what kind of love rival he would be. Takumi starts acting all gentleman-like around Misaki all of a sudden, which made me almost as edgy as she was.

Amagami SS – 11

「中多紗江編 第三章 ヘンカク」 (Nakata Sae-hen Dai Sanshou – Henkaku)
“Nakata Sae Chapter 3 – Change”

We’re three-quarters the way through Sae’s arc and there haven’t been any sign of kinky kissing going on. Instead, they hit us with the tentacle/bondage fetish from a live-action sentai show at an amusement park of all things. This may be a comedic arc, but have they no shame!?

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi – 11

「おおかみさんと羊の毛皮を着た狼」 (Ookami-san to Hitsuji no Kegawa wo Kita Ookami)
“The Wolf and the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”

To all those viewers who felt Ryoushi was too wimpy of a male lead back in episode one, rest assured that you should be pleased with his character development here. He mans up when it matters, which means protecting Ryouko at all costs.

RAINBOW: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin – 23

「Chance」

What I thought was going to be an arc about Suppon’s illness doubled up as one about Lily as well. It was unexpected but not a bad thing whatsoever, as it draws upon their past together and how Lily got Suppon the black market job he’s been getting by on all this time.

K-ON!! – 23

「放課後!」 (Houkago!)
“After School!”

Now that Yui and the others have finished their entrance exams and gotten into their school of choice together, there’s nothing left to do but wait around for their graduation ceremony. Hanging out in their clubroom one last time was on the itinerary, as was leaving behind a memento of all of Houkago Tea Time’s songs.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls – 01

「はじめての忠」 (Hajimete no Chuu)
“First Kiss”

An early broadcast premiere of the anime adaptation of Hobby Japan‘s 40th anniversary original novel and figure series was aired on Tokyo MX almost a month before the actual start of the fall season. Much like their other work that ARMS studio animated, Queen’s Blade, I just know a lot of people are going to quickly write this series off, but I’m tempted to cover it to prevent that from happening. Ignorance is not bliss.
