Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi – 02

「900秒の放課後〈後篇〉」 (900-Byou no Houkago (Kouhen))
“900 Seconds After School (Part Two)”

I don’t know if it was because Nakamura Yuuichi was his seiyuu or his sudden change from being a complete dick to a charismatic team leader, but Gekkou started to grow on me really quickly throughout the episode.

Hanasaku Iroha – 15

「マメ、のち、晴れ」 (Mame, Nochi, Hare)
“Bean, After, Sunny”

Continuing on from last week’s cliffhanger, I would like to say that I so called it when I thought of Ohana offering to work during her school trip vacation. Somehow, it wouldn’t have felt right if she didn’t step up and do something to remedy the situation thrown in front of her.

Nichijou – 15

「日常15」 (Nichijou 15)
“My Ordinary Life 15”

There’s just absolutely no reason that anyone could possibly think that Nano might even remotely be a robot. Besides the fact that she has a screw sticking out of her back, popcorn gun in one hand, chikuwa in the other, and a bird coming out of her head, it’s ridiculous that anyone might even consider the thought that she might be a robot.

Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi – 01

「900秒の放課後〈前篇〉」 (900-Byou no Houkago (Zenpen))
“900 Seconds After School (Part One)”

So we have ZEXCS animating and the screen writer Morita Shigeru of Kore wa Zombie fame creating something? I’ll admit that I wasn’t too excited with the premise of this show but I was blown away with how well this first episode played out.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! – 01

「僕とみんなと海水浴っ!」 (Boku to Minna to Kaisuiyoku!)
“Me, Everyone, and Sea Bathing!”

While I wouldn’t say that Baka Test came off the strongest during this first week of new shows, it was a really fun watch. Plus it has a strong back story going for it since it is a sequel. Here’s to a strong second season for this show!

Hanasaku Iroha – 14

「これが私の生きる道」 (Kore ga Watashi no Ikiru Michi)
“This is My Way of Life”

With tons of relationship problems building back at home, it was pretty slick of P.A. Works to somehow utilize the infamous beach episode to transition away from Ohana and the love triangle she’s dealing with to giving Yuina the proper introduction that she really deserves.
