THE IDOLM@STER – 15

「みんな揃って、生放送ですよ生放送!」 (Minna Sorotte, Nama Housou Desu yo Nama Housou!)
“Everyone Gather, It’s a Live Broadcast, a Live Broadcast!”

There’s no holding 765 Pro down, as they’re popular enough to have their own live program now. If you’re looking for a “show” that’s purely about cute girls doing cute things, IM@S “Are We Live? Sunday” is definitely it.

Mashiro-iro Symphony – 02

「きょぜつ色のクッキング」 (Kyozetsu-iro no Kukkingu)
“Rejection-Colored Cooking”

Two episodes later, I’m not so much impressed by Manglobe’s adaptation of Mashiro-iro Symphony as I am intrigued by how it has all the makings of just another high school romantic comedy, yet always seems to stop a step short of actually becoming one. It’s very odd I must say, because as soon as it looks like things are going to fall into an overused trope, the characters prevent that from happening.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon – 02

「食事場の清純者」 (Shokujiba no Senjunmono)
“Innocents at the Table”

With such a huge cast of characters, it’s starting to become a little difficult to keep track of who is who. However, it does feel quite rewarding after spending a some time trying to piece together who’s who and how they fit into this grand story of war, politics, and personal battles.

Kimi to Boku. – 02

「チューリップの咲いた日」 (Chuurippu no Saita Hi)
“The Day the Tulips Bloomed”

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m having trouble understanding what Kimi to Boku is trying to do here; one episode in and it still seems slow. But my biggest complaint is I still don’t understand what kind of vibe it’s trying to give off. Maybe I’ve been spoiled with too many comedies that feature girls doing things that only girls can do?
