Bakuman. – 10
「10と2」 (10 to 2)
“10 and 2”
Boy does Bakuman crank it up this week. Managing to fit a whole ton of plot development, crazy girlfriend faces, and a flashback into a single episode. How do they do it?!

「月下に妖精は舞う」 (Gekka ni Yousei wa Mau)
“The Fairy Dances Under the Moonlight”
I was expecting “big” things to happen once the Hagane and Hiryuu Custom crews met up, but even I didn’t anticipate the better part of the full twenty minutes dedicated to action upon action upon action of robot battle goodness. Did I mention there was a lot of action this episode?
「HELP!二人はエンジェル」 (HELP! Futari wa Enjeru)
“HELP! We are Angels”
I’m not exactly sure what went on for the first 16 minutes or why it happened, but it must have been to make this music video feel more awesome. The “theme” song that’s been occasionally played as background music for a while now is used for this MV, so people that liked it can now hear the full song.
「ベリタブリィー修道院」 (Beritaburii Shuudouin)
“Veritably Monastery”
Even with Niche momentarily out of the picture, Lag continues to stumble upon some big things on his own. This time it’s a Reverse hideout, where Connor just so happens to be smitten by a girl at the monastery selling cookies. I can’t really blame him though, seeing as the girl is none other than Roda. It’s just too bad she’s a Bee’s sworn enemy and one that even eclipses Gaichuu.
「激突!大人買い計画」 (Gekitotsu! Otonanagai Keikaku)
“Clash of the Buyitans!”
Besides the epic proportions of boobs flying around in this week’s episode, Sore Machi somehow manages to intertwine the very concept of time travel in the midst of all the jokes.
「節穴世界(ファンタジーフィールド)を覗け!」 (Fushiana Sekai (Fantajii Fiirudo) wo Nozoke!)
“Peek into the Peephole World (Fantasy Field)!”
The silly over-the-top high jinks continue this week, but surprisingly slip in a few big developments with regards to Ikaros’ feelings and Chaos’ interpretation of love. Leading up to that, it was nothing but Tomoki falling victim to the angeloids’ refusal to give him some alone time — not even in a man’s safe haven, the bathroom — before the master pervert himself got everything he deserved with the realization of the TOMOKI Peeking System.
「金融無職列島」 (Kinyū Mushoku Rettō)
“Islands of Unemployment Cash-lending”
Don’t mind us, Kuragehime’s just delivering another episode thick with development and romance that begs many questions yet answers little, giving a perfect balance of intrigue to keep watching. Yeah, it’s nothing special this season you know, so don’t worry, because you’re only just missing out on one of the best shows this season~
「散ずる桜花」 (Chizuru Ouka)
“Falling Cherry Blossoms”
Progression-wise, the continuation of the Hakuouki story has been good, but has yet to struck an emotional chord with me like the finale did in the first season. That is, until this episode, which was undoubtedly the most powerful one to date. What’s even better is that it was full of good twists — ones that no understanding of history could have foreseen.
