I was expecting this episode to be subpar since it looked like there’d be no correlation with the over-arching story. Luckily, I was completely wrong as I watched one of the most enjoyable episodes since the start of the season.

Out of all the things a group of friends could do together to foster relationships, going to karaoke is probably one of the best or worst ideas that the Neighbors Club have thought of yet.

For a show that’s only redeeming factor was a flamboyant main character with a complete disregard for the rules society has set, I’m glad to see that bigger things are coming into play.

After such a rough start, Kimi to Boku is slowly turning into the show I expected it to be. While this may not be the best indication of whether or not a show is getting better, I found myself laughing a lot throughout this fourth episode.

“Before Hitting the Road”
I don’t know what came over J.C. Staff but this third episode just felt a little out of place. If it was intended to build up some tension before that awesome fight that the preview alluded to, they could have at least made this episode more than just flashbacks! Judging from the comments that episode one got, it probably would have made a lot more sense to air this last week instead of this week.

I think I finally understand why shows that focus on comedy start to grow boring and stale — and why Haganai is totally not an example of that.
