With the last episode just a week away, I can’t get over how impressed I am with how exciting things are getting!

Can you imagine how different college/school life would be if the punishment for plagiarism was a one-on-one battle with Rika in full blown Yakuza mode?

「迷い猫オーバーヒート」 (Mayoi Neko Oobaaheeto)
“Stray Cats Overheat”

Ever since the Neighbors Club revealed its plans to film a movie for the Culture Festival, I’ve been wondering how it’d tie into the opening sequence.

「俺の幼なじみが修羅場すぎる」 (Ore no Osananajimi ga Shurabasugiru)
“My Childhood Friend Fights Too Much”

Amazingly, everything that I could have wished for after experiencing last week’s episode wonderfully found its way back. And amongst all the gags and heartfelt moments, I think I may have spotted something that may flourish into the first friendship ever being formed within the Neighbor’s Club! Maybe.

“As Long as there’s Love, It Doesn’t Matter If I Get More Sisters, Right?”

Even though I try really hard to not let it bother me, I’ll admit that it’s been fairly disheartening to hear that the writers behind the anime adaption are apparently blowing through material without a care in the world.

「奇行少女は傷つかない」 (Unbreakable Weird Girl)
“Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai”

When you have a group of people who overvalue the word “friendship” to the point where they can’t realize they’ve all become friends with each other, I thought it would be natural that they’d follow up this discovery of “friendship” with something equally over the top.

「そんな遊びはいけません! 〜君がいると世界観が乱れる〜」 (Sonna Asobi wa Ikemasen! ~Kimi ga Iru to Sekaikan ga Midareru~)
“You Can’t Do Something Like That! ~My Idea of Reality Gets Screwed Up When I’m With You~”

I’ll admit that I haven’t been the best at noticing some of the cameos that Haganai has been featuring each episode. But if you were there to see my face when the writers made a Mayo Chiki reference, you’d probably be laughing your head off.

「この中に1人、男がいる!」 (Kono Naka ni Hitori, Otoko ga Iru!)
“One of them is a Man!”

For those of you who don’t watch this show, I’m not talking about that over exaggerated throw up that’s common place — I’m talking about straight up disgusting full of half chewed food throw up. Don’t get me wrong though, all those disgusting scenes don’t take away from the show at all!

「俺の妹たちがこんなに可愛い」 (Ore no Imoutotachi ga Konnani Kawaii)
“My Little Sisters are This Cute”

My prayers have finally been answered — a Kobato episode has finally arrived! Or in this case I guess it’d be more accurate to say that a somewhat Kobato focused episode has arrived!

「ホモゲ部」 (Homoge Bu)
“Homo Game Club”

Even though there was a distinct lack of Kobato in this week’s episode, a glasses-less Rika almost made up for it.

「やはり俺の青春はまちがっている」 (Yahari Ore no Seishun wa Machigatteiru)
“I Think Something Is Wrong with My Youth”

After one whole year, Haganai makes its triumphant second season debut. And honestly, I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy another season of this quirky show. Luckily, this first episode completely blew past my expectations by wasting no time and jumping straight into the gist of things.

“We Have Few Friends”

I’m speechless. For the final episode to one of my favorite shows this season, I’m left with mixed feelings.

「女子は浴衣姿がな、超可愛い(゜∀゜)」 (Jyoshi wa Yukatasugata gana, Chou Kawaii (゜∀゜))
“You See, Girls wearing Yukata are Really Cute”

After luring us with the promise that Taka and Sora might one day be reunited with each other, this week’s episode of Haganai finally delivers.

「合宿は皆が寝ないヽ(゜∀゜)ノ」 (Gassyuku wa Minna ga Nenai ヽ(゜∀゜)ノ)
“No One Sleeps at Training Camp”

It’s tough to feel any emotions for Yozora after she’s entered sadistic bitch mode.
