Ao no Exorcist – 03
「兄と弟」 (Ani to Otōto)
“Brothers”
I’m surprised the sibling conflict was resolved so quickly, but I’m not entirely convinced of the reasoning they settled upon.

「地区長、誇りを取り戻す」 (Chikuchou, Hokori wo Torimodosu)
“The District Chief Regains Her Honor”
The only thing I can think of at this moment is how amazing Elsie looks without her hair tied back. It’s amazing how the entire momentum of the plot, story, and general conflict of the episode was canceled out in the single moment Elsie’s hair decided to do that “flick” movement.
「橘美也編 イモウト」 (Tachibana Miya-hen – Imouto)
“Tachibana Miya Chapter – Younger Sister”
The eagerly anticipated extra chapter centered around Junichi’s little sister is finally here, and it starts off strangely similar to Risa’s one that came before. The key difference is that when the progression verged on some dangerous incestuous territory, it held back just enough to remain innocently sweet.
「二匹の怪物は心をかよわせる」 (Nihiki no Kaibutsu wa Kokoro o Kayowaseru)
“Two Little Monsters Have a Heart-to-Heart”
Well, at least I was right on one part. Dude was African alright.
「涙の板前慕情」 (Namida no Itamae Bojou)
“Tearful Chef Romance”
Who saw it coming? I saw it coming. Throughout the entire episode, it would be hard to say that things didn’t feel a bit too pushy at times. From Ohana’s recklessness to Minchi’s extremely hard head, all these things come together to make an episode that will make you want to rip your hair out. But in a good way, sort of.
「Conspiracy (陰謀)」 (Inbou)
There’s a good portion focused on the blonde haired American-Japanese entre, Jennifer Satou, of whom we only saw glimpses of last time.
「日常5」 (Nichijou 5)
“My Ordinary Life 5”
Hakaseda-NYAN~, Moe-Desu!
I mean, Hakase is really cute.
「G 棟」 (G-tou)
“G sector”
Everything that Shiro does runs completely against the dark mood of this show. She seems pretty oblivious to what’s going on (or just chooses to ignore it) and just lives in her own little world like a young kid.
「めんまを探そうの会」 (Menma o Sagasou no Kai)
“Menma’s Search Party”
It’s always a funny surprise to see a plot device be acknowledged by the show, considering that Jinta remarks to Menma that using wishes as motivation is starting to feel like an excuse. It doesn’t really matter though, as the reason is not so clear cut this time around. Besides, Poppo’s the real plot driver here.
「きろぐらむ – Attention to Your Weight」 (Kiroguramu)
“Kilogram – Attention to Your Weight”
Tohru is officially the master at trolling. I suppose her methods would be a little more discrete if you were to compare her to a master troller like Mai, but hey, it still works pretty well.
Added the insert song in hopes for more exposure!
