Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai – 13
「俺の後輩がこんなに腐ってるわけがない」 (Ore no Kouhai ga Konnani Kusatteru Wake ga Nai)
“There’s No Way My Junior is This Rotten”
With the disappearance of Kirino, focus quickly shifts towards Kuroneko, a girl that has been slightly ignored in favor of the sister, but now receives the spotlight in the “true end.” I haven’t been following the fanbase too closely with which character is loved the most, but I can gather that most sided with the reserved, slightly more complex, “Gokou Ruri.”
Divine thought I should take up an episode of Oreimo and the filmstrip layout for some further experimentation.
Conclusion: I $@#%ing hate setting up the filmstrip.
-Kiiragi
GOSICK – 10
「風邪(かぜ)ひきは頑固な友人の夢をみる」 (Kaze Hiki wa Gankona Yūjin no Yume o Miru)
“Girl With a Cold Dreams of Her Stubborn Friend”
The mystery turned out to be a rather normal one by the genre’s standards, but made up for it with the continual uncloaking of Victorique’s dark past.
Kimi ni Todoke 2nd Season – 10
「ここから」 (Koko kara)
“From Now On”
..and after two weeks, she picks up the phone. In a smashing clash of montages, flashbacks, bubbles, blushes, and tears, the confession finally comes to a close after three “long” episodes.
Nichijou – 00
「日常」 (Nichijō)
“Everyday”
Slice of life is basically split into two parts, comedy-based and ..not comedy-based. I’m not a huge fan of “not comedy-based” types. People argue that there aren’t “points” to slice of life. I disagree. A good slice of life always has a point somewhere. Nichijou however, is a comedy-based slice of life, so this discussion is moot.
Yumekui Merry – 10
「夢から覚めずに」 (Yume Kara Samezuni)
“Not Waking from a Dream”
So hold on, remember when Merry destroyed a couple demons way back in the early episodics, and their vessels continued about their days? I’m not sure why I didn’t think of this last week, but did J.C. Staff just contradict the main plotline with their own original material? Or at least, create some poorly thought out suspense?
