So basically, this felt like a three episode prologue to the first “in reality” meeting between Makoto and Erio. Due to her being such an incoherent wall until now, coming to her senses actually did feel like, “oh wow, so she can be normal.” Would this be a moe gap?
This is my obligatory Kuroneko snapshot. While it doesn’t have her head turning seductively, she’s so cute with that happy smile of hers.

With Kirino still out of the picture, it looks like Kuroneko will get to keep the spotlight for just a bit longer. I admit that I’ve missed seeing and hearing Kirino — especially since she’s apparently turned a new leaf. That and I expected her to make some sort of appearance somewhere!
I also enjoy utilizing the filmstrip style.

The misguided hunt continues, switching focus to finding the IBN 5100 on a smaller scale, but fighting against SERN on a larger scale. For what purpose? To save the world. Even though he’s a mad scientist.

I can honestly say that I haven’t been this excited after an episode of Kami Nomi in a while. After the first two episodes this season, I was a little nervous that I would lose interest in this show — but I’m overjoyed that whatever they did this week really worked for me.

This is getting pretty interesting to say the least, as Masakaki whisks Kimimaro away to the center of the Financial District, a giant stock exchange in which entres (entrepreneurs) and their assets fight in “deals” for each other’s money.

There’s a psychotic opening sequence included this week, showing a lot of red and featuring some of the other deadmen, plus a little fan-service for both guys and girls. It fits pretty well with the dark themes in the series and the demented amusement park (even if there’s no reason for a costume to smile like that).
